Materials you will need:
- Small Box
- Magazines
- Scissors
- Glue and Water
- Glue Brush
- Cardboard or Paper
- Ribbon
- Pens to write your poem
Instructions:
Cut out small pictures like flowers, shapes or animals (any pictures you like) from magazines. Cut out enough to cover the whole box.
Using decoupage techniques lightly brush some watered down glue (two parts glue one part water) onto the box and stick on your pictures. You want them to overlap so you do not see the box. Work in small sections until the entire box is covered, then let it dry.
Once the box is dry, you can brush over your box with more glue and water mixture to make it shiny and stronger if you want to.
| When the box is completely dry, tie your gift box with a ribbon as you would a wrapped present and attached a tag with your own personal poem. This is what I wrote on Windermere Wizard’s tag…
Whenever you are feeling sad I’ve made this little gift for you, Windermere Please don’t ever unwrap it I hope you enjoy making this Poem and Gift box, you are welcome to use the poem I wrote, or you can write your very own! |
